OM currently has a 200 pk of ValueDisc/K_Hypermedia CD-r's for 59.99, and next week they will be on sale for 49.99 with a 35.00 MIR on them.

Get yer 50 pk for 1.99 AR this week, and bulk up next week! 🙂

-enjoy

Molex,
The box that I looked at was opened, and they were the mirror finish ones 🙂. it is a flat box about 11" x 11" x 4" with 4 shrink wrapped pancakes of 50 cd's each.
lol
TMI, but what the heck 😛

Yeah - I've had good experiences w/ Kingston Hypermedias but aren't mirror finished cds not as good as the ones w/ the clear coat labels since the top would be exposed by just as much as the bottom?

But at $15 I guess it wouldn't really matter.

OM seems to have learned thier lesson from the last 200 pk deal, my local B&M has 6+ cases of 12 on the salesfloor , plus who-knows-how-many in the back room. Plus this is a low volume store.

so lets see...
6cases*12packs/case = 72 packs
72packs * 200 cd's = 14400 cd's
14400 cd's*700 MB= 10,080,000MB = 10,080 GB = 10.08TB

dang thats a LOT of files

now, just multiply that * number of OM stores and DC's

ouch, my head hurts

😕

I was at an OM in SJ,

And the only ones they had are the 200 pk Prime Priiaphals (sp) for $35 (regular price)

So does this mean I get 200pk CDR for free AR of course?

I just ordered the 200 and the 50 pack so I can get free shiping this is VERY HOT 250 32X CDR for $16.98 + TAX to the door!!!😀

I bought 2, one for a friend. Asked for 2 reciepts. I hope this works

Added paperclips to get over 100, and used that 25 off coupon 😎

[spelling]

decent deal, but these value discs seem to be pretty cheap😛 well the kinda of cdr that doesn't have much of a protective coating on top so u can flake off 🙂

Does anyone know if there are any $10 off coupon codes for existing customers? The only ones that I can find are for first time orders only. I tried fatthingythat'sinmybackpantspocket.com but they're down for scheduled maintenance. Help!:frown:

bump for another stupid question, anyone know if Officemax allows instore pickup like Best Buy and Circuit City?

Better.. they will deliever it to your door free. The one time I did it, it was at my doorstep within 24 hours of clicking the submit button. Not too bad.

There is a $10 off $50 coupon.. find the thread at fa twallet or use google.

OfficeMax does not offer instore pickup. If you want to use the coupon, either take a printout of the online $10 off 50 to the store, or find a staples coupon as OM should accept competitors' coupons.

Good deal.. just hope TCA comes through with the rebate.

I saw both 200pk value disc and 200pk prime peripheals at OM, I compared the quality and went along with the prime peripheals for $35. I bought the 50 pk PP for $14 a while back. They are good for VCD and audio playback on the Sony DVD players. (not all models) They read fine on my Sony DVP-S360. Thats like 50pk for $8.75 w/o rebate. I think thats a pretty good deal.

I bought the CDR this morning, and immediately returned it after I found it's made by CMC . CMC is the WORST CDR media I ever used. I bot 100CDR spindle K-Hypermedia (made by CMC) months ago from Microcenter, and I used about 5 CDRs -- ALL COASTERS. I never had any coasters with HP, SONY, TDK, Kodak, Maxell, even PNY (PNY CDR is not good either, according to what I read). I searched in google and newsgroup, and found CMC made the worst CDR all the time, while my experience proved too.

Just be careful. Don't store important data on this media. Maybe good for avi movies.
