yes tons in back order. But it is a cheaper price compared to the earlier deal. Of course without the shipping it would have been one hell of a deal. LOL.

FYI I've not even received my Gateway confirmation that they have shipped the card at all. So called estimated arrival date was 9th of July 2004. Will see if that is true in a weeks time

damn I tried to get them to give me the 10% coupon and the 10% off for AAA membership. For people who work solely on commision he didn't seem to want me to get the card that bad.

I got my date of arival. Estimated to be July 29th, I have no problem waiting that long. Also, Ididn't get charged tax, but of course I live in Wyoming and there is nothing here.

Does anybody know if this card has even been released yet. I checked a few sites and they all say coming soon. So maybe that's one of the reasons the dates keep getting pushed back.

Yeah, Wyoming does have some beautiful sights to see. I'm actually enjoying the change from SoCal.

I waited till day before to cancel my last order guess I can wait a few more months with this new order, anyway these cards are not available in retail yet so as and when they become available, this is a great price to get them.

I've seen several places (atacom, gameve, zzf, etc) selling the x800 XT's for the past month, and I've also seen people posting benchmarks from the cards they received.

Why are you talking with CSR? Just order it online and apply the code(s) like everyone else did.

quick update, I checke my order again and the cost has been bumped back to 434, so I called gateway and asked them why the 10% discount was removed and they said the card is already discounted so the 10% wont apply to it, so I guess I am going to cancel again :0

others who ordered can ou please check ur order status and see if any of u still have the old price of 398.xx

another update just checked my bank balance and here is a hold for only 398.xx, so I dont know who is bs-ing here
