I know the majority here go for mobile overclocking, but seems like a good deal for those who wanted this processor.

Lowest other price im finding is $146 shipped so it seems like a pretty sweet deal.


:laugh: I went ahead and got one, my mobo only does 333fsb, i just bought a 2800+ but I know I can unload that locally for $100 and well, every little bit of speed helps

Nice deal! I like some of the great deals ebuyer has once in a while.

I am in need of an AMD processor that will go on an ECS L7S7A2 motherboard that was part of last weekend's Fry's combo deal (AMD 2500+ Barton + ECS L7S7A2 = $74.99) because I used the cpu already on another board.

I have some flaky parts for a thrid computer and the memory will not overclock anyway do having a cpu at this speed stock will be great!

Ordered one too. Seems to good to be true. I noticed 'Barton' wasn't in the description like the other AMD processors??

It seemed a little too good to be true to me as well. I was also wondering why it didnt have "Barton" in the title, however only the 2800 and 3200 did, seemed like they were just sloppy. The Mfr. Part number they have listed AXDA3000BOX is the correct part number for the AMD XP3000+ Barton processor retail box.

I'm guessing it was just a pricing mistake but hopefully one that they will honor for those who have ordered. Well we'll see come tomorrow when they will likely ship if its not cancelled and then when it arrives.

I got in for $102 last night and noticed it is back up to $150+ this morning. I sure hope they ship since I'm building a system this week.

The status today shows as "security check" and the delivery date is scheduled for July 28th.

I sure hope it wasn't a pricing error.
