It is a restaurant and sports bar, so I'm sure they'll let the general public in to eat and watch games.

That should not be a problem. There are so many excellent beers out there that are brewed in the US, yet are not an American Pilsner or brewed with rice!

Sqube & randomlinh Yes you should come! It'll be fun to meet everyone! Its in the afternoon so there are few excuses for not comming!

Could someone tell me what a good hotel to stay at would be? I know nothing about DC, but I'd stay Saturday night and come home Sunday. I'd love to see some attractions, but I've been there once before - no interest in museums or anything like that... I'd much rather be around a place where lots is going on and a lot of "locals" hang out... that's more my style. Interacting with the people, etc.

we've stayed at the Palomar, and we really liked it.
