Yo. First time post so gimme a break on the flames. Not the greatest deal ever, but definately not bad. Shipping is very cheap--i got it overnight for 11 bux to Florida. Total came out to 150 something...ground was about 6.

Enjoy. Hope this board is alright. Anyone know if coupons for outpost exist =)?

edit: I've noticed the price got raised so this deal is less than stellar right now. The combo scene stays pretty warm on outpost. You just have to search for AMD combo to find similar stuff to what I posted. Be patient and something cool will pop back up. Sorry that some of you missed out on it....(tanner)....better luck next time

I think that FIC mobo's are GREAT for stability for a typical everyday office user. But for the ppl 'round here...that would NEVER cut it. ;) even if they do just like to see their benchmarks really high ;)

oh, here's what I found for outpost coupons doesn't look to me like U missed much ;)

This is the same deal as this one at frys, just available for everyone. And probably not a customer return like frys likes to do. Anyone know whether outpost ever pulls the same games as frys now that they are affiliated ?

Although not an overclockers board, the AN11 is fast.
Im using a 1800+ with an AN11 and 512 generic ram.
In Sandra, my memory benches are higher than those offered to compare with(rdram excluded). 4 way interleave works without a hitch. Stable and install was effortless(w/win2k). There is a recent bios revision that deals with 2100+ and maybe XP(cant recall).

This seems to be a pretty stable MB? I don't want to O/C, but I do want stability.

Just received the motherboard and proc the other day and I am running it now. Much less hassle than the k7s5a's that I've had--no power supply issues etc. Motherboard is kinda labeled wacky and but I like it. The 4 IDE channels will be nice as I can put eachj of my devices on their own channel and eventually raid my two hard drives if i ever clean them off. The heatsink installation was not an issue...very easy using the right screw driver....would definately recomend this combo

The description says it has two ide channels.

EDIT: oops, "2 dual-channeled enhanced PCI bus master IDE connectors ".
