It's on Prime Video
My Sony Blu-ray player does streaming but haven't used that. I had a trial Amazon Prime account for 30 days, only streamed one segment on the last day. Worked great, but that was using a 1080p projector. Don't know, maybe it was 720p streaming. My DSL is <5mbps.

I have a 43" 4K TCL TV with Roku, and I suppose Prime Video is an option. Do you mean Amazon Prime Video? I could get another Amazon Prime trial, Amazon's always needling me to do that.

Dang ISP promised me gigabit fiber would be available to me in October 2018, but claim they had permit problems with the city. I figure that's BS, they just are slow in building it out, they have their own crews out on the streets installing (I ran into a crew). Anyway, I figure sometime this year I'll be able to stream decently.

Yeah, I'll wait for my fiber to happen before signing up for free Amazon Prime trial.

The Dragon Prince season 2 8/10
I'm an old man and I love a kids cartoon lol. Has a very Avatar feel to it as it should since the co-creator was the head writer for Avatar. Not a big binge watcher but I watched 6 episodes in a row tonight to finish it.

Started watching the Netflix Original 'The Umbrella Acadamy' and so far I am through 3 episodes. I must say I rather enjoy it. The character development so far is good, the acting is fair enough to make the surreal seem acceptable, and the storyline is unfolding nicely. As a bonus, anytime I can enjoy a flick in 4k Dolby Vision goodness is a treat.

As of now, I give it a solid 8/10 but that could go up or down depending on how the remaining episodes play out...

Behind the Curve - 9/10

Documentary on Flat Earthers. Whoah boy. I've never gone down this rabbit hole before. I knew they were growing in ranks and gaining traction, but I guess I didn't realize it was such a serious endeavor. I thought it was all well presented. Not too much of a slant either way. There was a good point made at the end by the scientist side on how Flat Earth believers should be approached and handled I thought. Also, who knew one of the leading on-line pushers of this theory was such a middle-aged babe?! And I totally want to buy one of the flat earth models/clocks.

I'd have to agree with your thoughts as I just finished the 3rd episode. Music is great, acting is great and I'm digging the story so far. The only character that's bugging me is Klaus. I feel like the acting is forced, but it's not terribad. Just a bit annoying sometimes. Otherwise, I agree, 8/10 as of now, up or down depending on how the series unfolds.

He seems that way because the rest of the characters are so muted. He's the high strung, off the wall heroin addict.

Yeah, I think we are 3 or 4 in as well. Not bad, donut shop scene kicked ass.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what is the significance of Luthor's body?/

Do you think there's a lot of people that seriously believe this flat earth crap, and aren't just trolling/screwing around? It seems pretty... mind blowing... that there would be.

I once had a guy on a plane, tell me the earth was flat. We were at 32,000 feet, you could see the curvature of the earth clearly out the window. I pointed this out to him, he told me it was a conspiracy and that the airplane windows were optically adjusted to show the curvature. I pointed out to him that couldnt be true because when we were on the ground nothing is curved and even showed him some pictures i had taken out the window while on the ground. He didnt believe them and stuck to his story.

Bottom line, flat earthers are really really stupid so trying to convince them otherwise is almost impossible due to their intelligence being to low to understand reality.

Have you met people before? People are pretty dumb.
Think of somebody you think has average intelligence. Then realize that HALF the world's population (3.5 billion) are dumber than that person. It's pretty depressing.

The Handmaids Tail, 9/10. Late to the party I know, but just a really good show. Gets you in the feels sometimes. Good drama, acting, and really engages you. Really one of the better shows in awhile. Waiting for season 3. And I want a matte black SUV like they have!

Polar - 8/10 - some Netflix movie about an assassin about to retire that is pretty damn violent and graphic. I'm pretty sure it's based on a comic or graphic novel or something and it's really over the top in parts, but it fits the style of the movie. Overall I was very entertained and the main actor guy is someone I've never seen but he was pretty badass.

Mads Mikkelson (sic?) does a lot of stuff these days--you've likely seen him somewhere. IIRC, his first major Hollywood flick was Casino Royale--the main baddy dude with the bleeding eyes that smashed Bond's balls in that ball-smashing chair.

Don't really recall this movie as I don't really like the Craig David bond movies so I don't remember him from that.

Looking at his IMDB, I definitely don't remember him from Rogue One or Dr. Strange either. I also would have thought that he was Spanish and never would have guessed Danish.
