NOW Bill goes to Viet Nam

I hope he leaves Hillary there.

<< This time he has bodyguards. >>

Something in common with Al Gore's time there.

Poetic...

Draft dodger is first American President to officially pay a visit to Viet Nam since the war there. He must feel like a complete idiot.

Just another humiliating moment for all Americans.

maybe hillary is going to get taken out by some whack vc who still thinks the "skirmish" is still going on

Lets talk about GWB and his National Guard service vs. ALGORES pitiful attempt.

As I said in another thread:

Being a reporter with a bodyguard, leaving Vietnam early (think 4 mo of a 12 mo tour) for Divinity and law school and flunking out (or Leaving) both, and strapping a fighter jet to your back (even if in the National Guard) are not even remotely related.

Too complicated of a sentence for you?

Now now...

It's all about reconciliation. If we want to have our cake and eat it too, we will need to mend things up with former adversaries, like North Korea, Iran, and even Vietnam. In the long run, this is a good thing. If we are to avoid potentially costly interventions, perhaps at the request of the UN, then the future of American international relationships can be summed up in these three words: "Cooperation, Cooperation, Cooperation".

Its good that he is going there, and besides, they don't have statuatory rape laws like they do here in this country... 😛

I have seen no proof Dubya actually flew for the Guard. There are pictures of him in uniform on what looks to be an airfield. Anyway, I give him the benefit of the doubt. What surprises me is that the media hasn't quized him on it. All they need to do is ask him the proper checklist procedure for starting and taxiing his aircraft. It should then be clear if he actually performed that task or not.

Actually,

The texas air national guard was a dumping ground for many well connected political families. Lloyd Benson's son served with "W", as well as several other state legislator's. Given a choice... Go to a hellish mudhole, or get to fly F4's (without going through the Air Force Academy), it is a no-brainer that sons of politician's took the F4 route. I mean, it is only the "little-people" who actually go and fight a war. The undesireables.

This is one the reason's I detest him so. I can't stand nepotism at all. Everything I have I worked my ass off for, and for a bumbling idiot to stumble through life getting more than he deserved, and far more than he ever worked for, just goes against everything I stand for. That was why I was for McCain. He earned his wings, he suffered a living hell as a prisoner in Vietnam, and he survived. Sometimes, that is all you can hope for, when success is not an option. They are also character buildling experiences... Ever notice that "W" has very little character? There is a good reason.

The only way "W" would have gotten my vote is if I could have personally shoved it up his ass... of course I would have to take the silver spoon out first.

<<Everything I have I worked my ass off for, and for a bumbling idiot to stumble through life getting more than he deserved, and far more than he ever worked for>>

Isnt this how it usually is? Im with you.
