Greetings

1. After installing Novell Client 4.83.0.0 sp1 under Window XP professional, Novell password-protected screen saver kicks on and will ask for re-login if the workstation is not used for a certain amount of time (2 or 3 mn).

Is there a way to change this delay time to more than 5 minutes?

2. When the PC is locked either by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and selecting "Lock Workstation", or a password-protected screen saver kicks on, Novell will ask for a network pwd (NDS from the From field) and will unlock both the network and workstation even though the pwd for network and workstation is different.

Is there a way to set Novell to prompt for a workstation pwd as a default instead?

Advance thanks for any kind of suggestion and help.

This is caused by the normal screensaver activation, adjust it like you would without the Novell client.

The novell client assumes NDS is your default authentication method, if you want to use the workstation by default you'll probably need to login "workstation only" or set the gina back to use the default MS gina.
