Is there a registry setting for the Workstation lock/log in?

I have to log in each time I let my laptop sit for a while.

I have turned off the requirement to log in under the display properties (Screen saver tab) and in power management under the Advanced tab. But it keeps turning itself back on.

TIA

If your eDirectory/ZenWorks administrators have enforced that policy, you aren't going to be able to override it without some unsupported hackery...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Novell\Login

Enabling supress single sign-on should enable a checkbox on login unless otherwise locked down by an administrator policy.

They allow us to change it, but it won't stay changed. My IT people are in Sac and I am in San Diego. I guess they could remote in.

You'll probably have to put in a ticket, but I'm not sure how accommodating your admin staff will be to making a unique policy for just you to disable that specific part of the organizational one..

If you are sup level and you can change it and it's resetting back every login, it's simply processing the policy every time and will require a unique policy to modify that.

Looks like just forcing a password change is turned on?
