As a Michigan fan, I'm not going to lie and say our defense is great, because it's not. It was better last year for sure, but even then we were relying on Edwards to save games for us (see: Michigan State game).

Lots of injuries too, both prior and during the game. Hart is going to be a big loss.

They seriously need to shore up the defense though. If we can't even beat ND at home, there's no way we're going to beat OSU. We'll see how the rest of the season plays out. It's not the first season they've lost an early game.

Chad Henne only completing 19 passes sure had a lot to do with it though.

Charlie boy said he watched every single Mich game last year and some from the year before in order to get ND prepped for this game.

Quinn only completed 19 too - although he only attempted 30 (to Henne's 44). Michigan still had almost 80 more yards in the air than ND - and more rush yards too. I'm looking at the stats now (couldn't watch the game) and both teams ended pretty evenly stat-wise.

Wow! What a TD run by Peterson, he knocked down the first guy, shrugged off the second guy, and stiff armed the last one for a 30yd score!
