Nothing to see here

I sold my beloved Dell PowerEdge 400SC only because it was still in the box 9 months later.

I had hoped to turn it into a quiet ghetto HTPC.

RIP.

I wanted to put Linux on this thing, and do something slick with it. I never did, it just sits there now, I have my webcam hooked up to it but that's about it. It's the good one too, the 512MB/80GB/dual NICs, I got it for $220 back in January...I feel almost stupid getting rid of it after getting it for that.

Don't really use it for much since I got it back in January through one of the deals, and I can get some much needed cash for it, so I've decided to let it go. It kind of sucks though, it's such a solid machine, Dell did a great job on it, I hate to see it go. On a plus side, I'll take the 19" monitor hooked up to it, and connect it to the DVI slot on my current machine for dual monitor desktops....score!

really it's good not to get too attached to material goods 😉

you either got to keep up with the latest technology or get left behind. see my grandmother for an example.

Well, of all the things I've posted there, 90% have responses within a few hours. I'd offer it up on FS/FT, but the thing is so damn heavy that shipping it would cost an arm and a leg, probably not worth it to whoever buys it.
