Nothing like burning up old isa and useless non working cards and other comp stuff

One of my friends and I were bored last night, just got back from moving him to where he's going to college... anyways I'm a pyro so we lit stuff on fire and put it in a box and held onto the box until it started burning.. anwyays, I had the wonderful idea of burning a video card that didn't work... wow, I've never seen green flames before, but it was awesome...

You just have to be careful, those capacitors really explode (sounded like firecrackers on a card that had a lot of them...)

Also burned was the following:
smc barricade router (didn't work, even as a switch)
plenty of cd's (awesome because they melt into tinfoil)
manuals (they also burn green)

That was one neat fire... we made sure not to breathe in any of that crap though, as I'm sure it's toxic as hell...

nah, it was dark out and it was in a barrel, so you wouldn't have seen anything too well.. plus my friend got hit in the head when one of those capacitors blew and needless to say he wasn't as thrilled anymore...

I replace a modem for a friend that runs a hvac shop. We took the old modem out, put it in a bench vise and fired up the cutting torch 😀

you DO know that computer components are full of toxic chemicals and incineration is not a good idea right? i hope you didn't inhale deeply. not good for the enviroment either.

we ship our electronic waste over seas for disposal, and it creates toxic nightmares.

No we didn't inhale deeply... we weren't in the path of the smoke either... it's not like we were trying to get high off this stuff...

and yes it's probably not good for the environment, but neither is grilling and what not... i'm sure it didn't hurt it too much.

it's ok, there's other goodies to burn, and next time I'll take my digital camera along 🙂

Burn your camera 😉...j/k....no really i'm kidding...don't put the camera on!

you know, there are centers that pay out 2 cents/lb for old computer equipment and they'll dispose of it for you?
