Nothing like a Hummer in the carport!

I moved the camera so the hook isn't blocking the view and is closer to the nest. This is the third nest on that hook in six years.
 
That's pretty cool, hummingbirds are interesting, and beautiful birds. Never knew their eggs were so small, no surprise. Keep us updated! 🙂

They bring back spider webs and wrap them around the nest. Here is a close up of the outside of the nest to give you an idea of what it is made of:

It is mostly seeds and spider webs.

Interesting. We have a pair of these shiney green hummingbirds down by our cabin. I have no idea where the nest is though.
