Second hatchling on 7/07/2006.
Second nestling died 7/14/2006, first nestling still vigorous.

Yep, fixed, but only every 65 seconds as the camera is refreshing every 60 secs.

I moved the camera so the hook isn't blocking the view and is closer to the nest. This is the third nest on that hook in six years.

Update:

First egg.

She laid her first egg this morning. She will likely lay a second one tomorrow. The egg is about the size tictac.

They bring back spider webs and wrap them around the nest. Here is a close up of the outside of the nest to give you an idea of what it is made of:

Interesting. We have a pair of these shiney green hummingbirds down by our cabin. I have no idea where the nest is though.
