Can we please all agree immediately to STFU with hastags? This joke was very mildly funny a long time ago. Then it became so lame that it became a joke to make fun of it. However, we're also past that point. We are now at the point where even mentioning a lot of hashtags as a joke is not funny, and I think we need to collectively STFU with it.

I put people that say "hashtag" in the same boat as people that make "air quotes" with their fingers.

My favorite is when people put hashtags in weird places, like email. The only ones who care about search that is the NSA 😀
