Notebook users... How long does your battery last?

Hi guys,

I'm really pissed at my notebook and how quickly it runs out of power, so I'm curious, how long does your battery last?

As well, what is your CPU throttling set at? I have no idea what to set mine at, so advice appreciated.

My Compaq Presario 1500T (Celeron 1.4-M) lasts about 2.5 hours if you optimize it so it sips power instead of guzzling it.

Thinkpad X31 4-5 hrs and I have two batteries, so i just swap em and can go all day.

I've never actually timed it but according to the battery meter I get a little over three hours on my Inspiron 1100. A bit less if I'm watching a dvd or something like that.

Sony GRS700 - P4-m 1.8 - A little more than 3 hours (Maximum battery settings)

my thinkpad dies as soon as i pul the power plug, my inspiron 8600 gets about 3.5 hours now

3:15 with minimal power management on my Compaq X1000. It's the longest lasting laptop I've ever used, even outlasted my IBM T40 (which lasted about 2:45).

you think that's bad.... my old P120 laptop only lasted for about 5 min. Just enough time to move it from one plug to another. I woulda replaced the battery but it would have cost more than the laptop was worth so I said forget it.
