Notebook suggestions please...

I'm looking to purchase a notebook computer.

Here's what I'd like it to have:

600+ PIII w/speed step
64MB or more memory
6GB+ hard drive
14.1 or larger TFT
DVD drive
ATI mobility video with 4MB or more (to decode DVD and play games)
TV out so I can play DVD's in hotel rooms, etc
1.6" thick or thinner
3 spindle design

Right not I'm considering the Winbook 800MHz for $1999
or Quantex 650MHz for $2199

Suggestion or comments?

You can't go wrong with a Dell. Check Dell refurbished systems.

Hey, I'm looking for a notebook too. I like the Dell's, but they are expensive.

Anyone know much about the Gateway Solo series?

I'm looking at the Solo 5300 XL for about $2475

Major Features:

-Integrated 10/100 Ethernet & V90 56K Modem

I priced a similar Dell Latitude, but it ended up arount $2,999.
