notebook screen question

Im in the process of looking for a back to school laptop around a 1000 dollars canadian. I have been sifting through a variety of stores and sites waiting for the back to school sales to begin. However when I browse the models I see one difference that I am unsure of. I have set myself on a 15.4 inch wxga tft screen for the most part, however i also see this option on some laptops quoting it is high definition. I dont know exactly what this is meaning. The resolution of the two screens appears to be the same. Is anyone able to explain the difference to me? Are all 15.4" wxga tft screens high def. compatable or what not or is this some sort of marketing gimmick? Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou.

You should look up the actual resolution in numbers - WXGA is 1280x768

I guess they could be comparing the resolution to HDTV, and WXGA is higher than 720p HDTV (1280x720), so they can consider it "high definition"
