While trying to hardwire a power supply to a Docking Station, I've come across a problem.
Original Dell wire had 2 lumens + shield (3 sets of copper).
New "Chinese" Adapter only has one lumen (2 sets of copper).
Now MB has 3 solder points. Looks like 2 are for power (are identical) and one ground (I'm assuming).
So my question, if you had to solder to the 3 points, what would you solder? I'm leaning towards splitting power to 2 identical points, and shield copper to ground. Any suggestions? It's the PR01X, but it shares the Latitude power connector.
