Note to self

That's one reason why I would never be a guide. Jackass couldn't shoot for anything and endangered everbody there.

This was posted before, I think the story is the lion killed a person, or was in the habit or killing livestock, or something. I don't think this was a hunt for the sake of hunting.

It does make you think twice. two hundred thousand years of human evolution gives us firearms, and the lion still almost wins.

I wish I could take that guy and put him in a "sporty" situation like that - no cover.. no trees... no where to run... then release a starving lion on him... see if he thinks its a fair game. That was lame hunting...

That guy is an idiot. If you can't stop it with one clean shot, you don't deserve to be hunting. I wish the lion would have gotten a little bit more that his sleeve.

Thats what you get when you combine 1 rich/well off guy who never/seldom goes hunting with bad shooting skills and a guide service. Good thing the guide decided to shoot and take him out or that would have been really ugly.

Winner! These guys were not hunting the lion for the hell of it. It had either already killed a human (which I think is what happened) or was killing off a lot of livestock. This is not a tour or something of that nature. Way to take this out of context Fingers.

Aye. Shooting for sport when you don't know what you are going and risking only injury to a lion and your crew no to mention yourself should demand jail time...

Hell, IIRC, it is even illegal to shoot-to-mame with humans....that man is trash

It was obviously a guided trip. Did you hear the guy directing the newbie at when to shoot and what to do. If they were profesional hunters in anyway then it would have dropped on the first shot.

I posted that video before.. Not sure what the true story was behind it... It was reported as being either a canned hunt or someone was killed and they called in hunters to kill it after it got into the fenced in compound... either way, was still kind of pulling for the lion...

Oh sorry for the repost, searched and didn't see anything.

My favorite thing is after the dumbass misses his shot like 10 times and gets knocked on his butt - the guide actually takes the lion down THEN the dumbaz gets up and shoots it. LOL like he did ANYTHING but make it angry and get his trash kicked!

i'd love to read the story attached to this, but from viewing the video alone, i'm just glad that the lion acted in self defense.

i'm no peta activist, but 5 against 1 is a big number.

and yes, that guy is an idiot, and so is the rest of his crew. they didn't seem to get even close to the lion with their guns.

Well in some defense for the guy he actually hit the lion with the first shot. It was just placed very poorly. You can see the lion get knocked down a bit.
