I've had UPS deliver packages for me to the wrong address before. One time they delievered some wine I had shipped to the wrong address, and since it requires signature the person refused delivery of it and it ended up shipped back to the vender. Then I had to pay another $40 to have it 2nd day aired to me again.

Idiots.

I can't believe the guy put it in his car and drove it to a police station. That would be a fun one to explain when a cop pulls you over on the way there with a brick of pot on the passenger seat.

Or maybe they intentionally put the wrong address on it thinking that UPS would fail to deliver it, and then some other guy could use the tracking info to pick it up at the Dallas UPS facility. That way there is no identifying information that could tie the recipient to the drugs.

I was gonna say he should have kept it and enjoyed the next 10 years of free smoke. Or he could have profited off of that bigtime. But..... common sense would tell you that whoever sent the package would eventually figure out that it went to the wrong address. Who wants someone at their door w/ a gun threatening you b/c you stole their goods right? Smart move calling the police.

Yea.. ever try getting rid of 30 pounds of swag? Not only would nobody know who you are or trust you to buy from, they would look at your pot and say no thanks. Selling it would be a nightmare. I'd be easier to go work a min wage job and earn 10.5

Remember the mayor of a town had some pot put at his door by police. When he took the package inside, not his package by the way, they busted in and threw him and his mother in law to the floor and shot his dogs.

If it was me i call the police right after opening it.

The question is why did the dude even open the package? Isn't it illegal to do that if it doesn't have your name on it? Or only if it doesn't have your address?

He was expecting some tools or something and probably didn't notice the wrong address till afterward.

LOL.. That has to be some nasty shit.

UPS is definitely the carrier of choice for dealers though... Seriously.
