Looks pretty sweet to me! The edge screen is something I had hoped for on the Note. Though it's a little silly to me if they don't also make a non-edge version as well.
Pretty much no question this will be my next phone. The non-removable battery will just be something I have to get used to, but it's not like I can get that with very many other phones anyway. Long as SD is back and I can put massive camera/media storage in it, I'm golden.
I ended up hedging my bets once it seemed pretty clear that it wouldn't have a 4000mAh battery. Sold my Note 5 on swappa 2 weeks ago before the post-new model price drop. Picked up a brand new in box S7 Edge and am running it with my 200GB mSD card.
The 64GB default storage in the Note would have been nice but I almost never download new apps these days and I still have plenty of storage left. Media basically takes up most of my storage and mSD is plenty for that. Same camera, similar build made $800ish a tough sell when I got the S7 Edge for $550.
That being said, if the battery is bigger than expected but most of all, if it somehow stuns with Android 7 out of the box, I'll probably sell the Edge and pick it up.
