Flat screen Note?!!! Yes please!!!!!
I'm willing to forgive the stupid cutout to get a flat screen lol. Really despise the curved screen on my Note 9...utterly useless.

And as a bonus the 3.5mm headphone jack too! A recent trip with a Pixel 2 showed me why I'd want to charge my phone and plug in headphones at the same time, which I couldn't do with the Pixel 2.

I'm looking for an economical upgrade to my S8+. I actually like the curved screen and use the edge panel for quick apps/calls. These Lites only come with 1080p so I switched my S8+ to 1080p and notice no difference playing videos back-to-back. Assume it doesn't matter much on such a small screen. Any opinions?

I like my S10e, coming from an S8, particularly because no curved screen. You couldn't pick the thing up without opening something you didn't want. Screen size nearly identical. Like the fp reader in the button, works fine. Had it for a couple months, would recommend.

I find it weird they redesigned the camera housings on both phones to be on a square block. Why not keep the same camera housing design from the S10 and Note 10 phones they are named after? I'm guessing this square look is what they S11/20 is going to have too. I'm not a fan of the way Samsung lays out the camera on this square block because they still arrange them vertically and have a lot of empty space on one side. At least Apple and Google lay them out symmetrically. But I guess this square block that now includes the camera flash will look better when you have a case on it. With the S10 and Note 10 the flash was separate and cases had to use a weird shaped cutout to include the flash with the camera.

Also weird the S10 Lite gets a macro lens instead of a wide angle lens. Nice to have a macro lens once in a while, but most people would probably need the wide angle lens much more often. Also why are the camera lens on these phones so different when on the S10 and Note 10 they were so similar? Feels like they are experimenting on Lite users I think.

Likewise, both phone have different processors too. Speculation that these phones may only available in certain regions. Note 10 Lite gets the Exynos processor so possibly may not come to North America?

Very odd the differences these phone have between each other than their more powerful counterparts don't have.

Funny how a flat display is a selling point to buyers. Samsung loves that curved bezel so much, and it does look cool. But it's functionally so annoying. After years of curved displays Samsung still hasn't solved the problem with accidental input from the edges. You pretty much need to use a case on these phones to resolve that problem (feels like the iPhone 4 antenna problem).

Also I think the 1080p resolution will be fine. Even their high end phones ship set to 1080p by default. It's hard to see the difference on phones. Hopefully the screens get bright enough too. I suspect brightness may be another corner cut with these phones. But certainly can't be worse than a Pixel phone.

oh so cool, i love the curve screen but a flat screen is sure harder to break screen protectors alot more easy to install cases more compatible. i wonder how good the camera is. the reason i bought the s10+ 512gb was the camera, the fingerprint reader is unusable for me after a glass screen protector is installed (even have stupid glass with finger print hole right now still doesnt work well or at all but i havnt tested to much just added one print after what seems like 30 tries to add) i dont mind the square camera block i guess they trying to look like iphone :p im sure there is a good reason behind it. so are there prices for these phones? funny the galaxy s11 is out soon why bother with lite versions now? getting rid the old hardware? same qualcom chip? i also enjoy the wide selfie camera on the s10+ :(

Yeah, doesn't look like the Note 10 Lite will come to North America

Guess I'll stick with the Note 9.
