Not waking up

let me rephrase

say someone wakes up when they get a phone call. you hit the ignore button, go back to sleep. Person calls again, waking you up, and you hit the ignore button again, this happens multiple times over the course of an hour

is there a direct link to someone waking you over and over again. eventually causing you to just go back to sleep and not wake up?



just wondering, I have a family member claiming this. i kind of agree with him, but i wouldnt know what to call it

I would think if your mind hears the sound enough times, you'll be able to tune it out. After the second or third try though, I would usually pick up and ream them for calling me at some sort of indecent hour (unless it was an emergency.)
