not too complicated ftp program?

i'm looking for a not too complicated ftp server program
i want one that works easily through a router, since i don't know much about networking and configuring routers and such.

any suggestions would be appreciated

I recommend http://www.bpftpserver.com

With a router, all you have to worry about is opening up port 21(you'll have to open up a port for any FTP server), and a range of ports if you want to allow PASV connections.

I recommend GuildFTP. It's free and I thought that it was pretty easy to set up.

Routers can get to be a pain though

Go with ServU or BP FTP. As far as opening up ports - you probably won't have to. the software will do everything unless your router is configured weird.
