I came home and was unable to access my environmental control/monitoring server. I had to run the IMPI interface in a VM to get to the console (I hate Java, what a pain) to see what's going on and this is what I got. It was completely unresponsive:

What would cause this and how do I prevent it from happening again? This server has been running fine for years till now. I rebooted it and it seems fine... for now.
Os is CentOS 6.6 running on a Supermicro 1U D525 Atom box.
It's been warmer out and I did not do hvac in server room yet so things get a bit warm, but it's actually cold out today, so it's not temp.
