I hope that she was able to make it to the airport, and uses the chance that she has to straighten her life out. You did a good thing, and I'm sure she will remember it. This thread made my night, too.

You did well. I would call a taxi or a cop to take her to the airport.

About 3 years ago, I did something very similar like you did. I was in Dallas for a weekend out of town trip and one girl met me in the parking lot of the hotel and asked me if I could let her in the hotel room to clean up (she ran away from an abusive spouse). I let her in and she took a shower then I took her to Denny to bought her a nice dinner. A friend of her came over later and picked her up. I felt very good afterward.

This may sound corney, but I do believe in the old Bill and Ted line of "Be excellent to one another". If we could all live by that, then this world might just turn around and have a chance.

Saturday night my wife and I took our son to Wendys for dinner, he loves the fries and frosty.

As we were leaving, a "young girl" comes in the door with nothing but a backpack, and wearing what appeared to be pajammas, and a wet sweater. My wife and I noticed that she came to the counter, got some ice water, and asked if she could sit in the lobby and warm up.

So, being the type of person I am, I buy her a meal, and talk to her a bit. Turns out she is running from an abusive boyfriend, and is tryiong to get home to Washington state, and she is 22 years old.

So after getting her a hot meal, and talking to her, we leave, but are still concerned for her. If we had not been in my truck, we would have given her a ride to the airport, because supposedly her mother had a ticket at the counter waiting on her.

And before you undersexed teen pimple farmers ask, I do not have any PICS. and she was not that "hawt" to begin with.

Scott, you are a good man. Kudos!

Its great that you did that but I'd be a tad skeptical of a request like that.
