Not so hot - Free DVD offer with JP3

This is not a hot deal, but thought it may be relevant to those waiting for the Free DVD offer from Jurassic Park III DVD. I didn't receive my DVD, so I got worried, as my brother who sent out the same rebate got his DVD about a month ago. However, they cashed my check long ago - i think it was about $3 that's suppose to cover the shipping. Anyway, I called up the 800 number to inquire, and not surprisingly they told me we sent out a notification yesterday stating that the DVD I selected was out of stock & I'll have to wait. 2 Things I see trouble with
1) the fact they told me they sent out the notification yesterday only when I called; when in fact they should have sent it out weeks ago; seems
2) on the rebate form, I remember them stating, if the DVD I selected is not available, they'll pick some other title.

Anyone else having problem with this?
