There is a sort of chopping that reminds me of the Intel HD3000/HD4000 chip with the 23.xx bug. This irritating little jump in frame variance that i notice (but some dont/didnt). I didnt have the problem on old AMD gcn card btw.

I have it in different playback programs and different material.

Any idea where to look for solution?

What playback software do you use? Is it something that lets you check what the refresh rate is during playback?

My gut feeling is people will need a ton more information. My GTX 970 has no issues playing back videos or Dvd's.

What software are you using?
What type of files or media are you playing?
What are your basic computer specs? CPU, Ram, OS. things like that.

The more information you give people the better their advice can be.

Movies have a frame rate of 23.976 but most hardware will play this at 24FPS so every once in a while you get a little skip so the sound doesn't get out of sync.
Try out Smooth Video Player it allows you to play video synced to your displays refresh rate (60Hz)

Thanx. I will try that. You made me look in the right direction i think.
I think the problem is between the gfx, 23.976 and the frame interpolation i use on my projector Sony HW40es as it looks fine played without interpolation on the screen :)
Its just that when you have the frame interpolation on the projector watching without is also very bad. Its like gaming on 24fps vs. 60fps.
