Question Not seeing Windows 11 25H2 available on my 24H2 system

Good morning,

I am not seeing the Windows 11 25H2 as being advertised and available on my machine, and was curious.

Normally when this happens, I would download the ISO and run an upgrade, but hate the hidden windows OS folder, and all the bloat that comes with it.

This is supposed to be an enablement package and the new options are already apart of the 24H2 OS patch ddelivery already.

My system is fully patched, and I was wondering what hardware they are actually blocking from receiving the upgrade.

I have the latest BIOS installed as well.

They roll out such upgrades in phases, in case some gigantic issue surfaces early on then there's not so much mess to clean up.

If I had a choice in the matter, I would ask to be the last in the queue.

Do you have Get the latest updates as soon as they're available on? If not, turn it on, and then check for updates.

Yes, I have always had it on. Just not populating, so I am beginning to think there may be something in my hardware that is not advertising it. It is the same across (2) desktops and my laptop. Each have different SSD's, so I cannot say if it is a Phison concern or not.

It was just released 6 days ago. It will show up eventually. I didn't even upgrade to Windows 11 on my PC until Sept. 23rd.

I'll let others test 25H2 for a while, even when it is offered to me. I don't think it really adds anything worthwhile.

In my own posts here or in other threads, I described my own hardware as a CPU-generation just short of eligibility. After I first upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on two of those systems, I had no problem showing the 25H2 update "ready to install" soon thereafter, and only had to uninstall drive-pool software temporarily to get it to "take" on the second system. Then, I received the "update to the update" (all this through the "Windows Insiders" program enrollment), with the same caveat: uninstall the drive-pool software on one of the two systems. And -- no problem. Stablebit DrivePool makes this uninstall-install sequence simple and problem-free.

The feature update is likely the basis for all other minor updates for the next year or two. Some people had a problem with Phison SSD controllers, and I am guessing that the second full update of the 25H2 feature update resolved this problem, but I didn't have any such SSD controllers in my systems, and therefore no such problem.

I've been testing 25H2 in our work environment, specifically for results pertaining to the Windows Recall feature with Copilot+ computers. There's the obvious concerns, even with BitLocker integration, but it doesn't seem like something that will be widely available on everything we have--or something we'll even opt in for.

25H2 ISO has been out for a bit now, so anyone who doesn't see it via regular channels should be able to "nudge" the update along. If they really want it that badly anyway...

The OP never stated he was on the insider's program. Of course it was already offered to you. Insider's get it first, even before release. Not sure how that relates to the OP.

I suppose I was suggesting -- obliquely -- that he could join the Insiders Program.

Personally, I went through some hoops this summer to resolve the "end-of-Windows-10" difficulty. I waited and waited for the ESU on one Windows 10 system, and upgraded the two other systems to Windows 11.

The OP apparently had eligible hardware and was waiting for the latest Win 11 feature update. It just seems that everybody has more trouble with all of the current issues than one should expect. If my remarks were unhelpful, I apologize.
