Wuss. I've seen my g/f at most once a month for the entire year we've been together. And not all those visits are conjugal, if you get my drift. It just makes you appreciate it more.

I'd say that you'll be fine.

Try switching hands

Oh yeah? I'm in perfect shape and I still can't date a damn date to save my life . . . let alone a good boinking . . ..:brokenheart:

Dude, it's all about standards...you just have to find out "how low you can go"...

2000 miles apart, poor college students. I'll get to see her at x-mas, MAYBE spring break, and in the summer. I'll be co-oping, some some of my summers will get borked too. Being apart definately makes you realize how much someone means to you.

No sh!t. Im going through the same thing. 8 hours away and nothing but my right hand. Oh well, I can deal. I'm even thinking of saying that "L" word to her because well, I think I miss her that much.

Righty Rita and Lefty Laura are ur best friends ...

2.5 months is not a long time ... Try being in the US Navy and going on a 6 month deployment onboard an Aircraft Carrier ;-)

I have done 2 6 month deployments and let me tell U that its not that hard ... as long as U have Rita and Laura, U will be fine ... In that way U will appreciate ur GF when U get to see her at Thanksgiving :)

Geez Toronto to Ottowa is a 4 hour drive. It won't kill you drive there or take the bus once a month to see her. Hell I drive 280+ miles a day several times a week for work. It's nothing to drive.

I don't have a car, I'm not saying it is impossible either. Its just a hectic time school wise right now.

Not to be a total asshole here, but I'm going to have to side with the guys who say "You'd better not post a YAGT at Thanksgiving."

Distance makes the wang wander, never mind the heart. I can't remember how many relationships I saw crumble as a result of distance over my first few weeks at school.

And no, not all of them were my fault.

Just four or five.

Bust out the videoconferencing! :D

My gf and I purchased some logitech 4000's (got a good deal on em too), should make the distance much better to deal with when you can view her in motion as you talk (or do other things ;) ) to her.

Hmm, I'm in Toronto. Want me to...uh, watch over her for you? Yeah that sounds plausible... :D

No worries, I know what you are saying but I am not going to wander, and I know she wouldn't. You'd have to know us I guess. ehh

As long as you're both up to the challenge, you'll do fine. But if either one of you doesn't have the strength to stay through the hard times, this is when you'll find out.

Best of luck.
