Not Running in Dual Channel?

Guys I need a little info please

I am about to build a new PC. Using a AMD Athlon 64 3500+ on a Nforce4 Board. I want to use 2 1GB Sticks of ram. But for now I can only buy 1 until I get more money. Will my system run slow if I don't run in Dual Channel? I will only be doing this for maybe a few months.

A64s rarely benefit from Dual Channel. Its the P4s that seem to be bandwidth hungry.

Just run in single channel for now and upgrade laster on down the line.

It will probably run 5-10% slower than in dual-channel.
