Not Powering On

Ok, so I just finished up putting everything together and I can't get my new comp to power on.

So after I have plugged in the chord to the comp from the wall, hooked up the two connectors to the Motherboard and plugged in the other items, I flip the back switch on the power supply to on...the Yellow LED on the bottom of the motherboard which I believe designates Stand-By mode comes on. Then when I go to push the on switch on the computer nothing happens. Nothing.

So I have double checked that the power button leads are plugged in correctly to the motherboard. I have done this after removing all of the other items (hard drives, cd-rom etc.) to the same effect.

The last thing I tried was unscrewing the motherboard from the case and suspending it to make sure there wasn't a short (though I expect the yellow LED might not be on if that was the case?).

I know the power supply works as if I jump it quickly while hooked up to everything but the motherboard everything comes on and works. But as soon as I hook it back into the motherboard instead nothing will turn on. Fans don't start, nothing does except the Yellow LED on the bottom of the motherboard.

Currently using a brand new Corsair 620watt power supply. I should have pleanty of power. Also I did jump the power supply quickly and plugged it into the other items and the fans and such do power up when I jump it. Plugging it back into the motherboard then nets me the old yellow light as if it is getting power...but nothing further.

Thank you and let me know if anything else will help.

My understanding is that if the power on switch works, and a computer does nothing when you press it, it's either the PSU or the mobo. If you are confident that your PSU works, then I think you have to look at that mobo and rub your chin.
