good luck!

shipping on the "real one" (linked below) is $50 to $110

edit: converter on the off chance we actually get one 🙂

take those screenshots now

and start saving up for a full priced one when these dont ship! because even at $2500 they sure are purdy, uh huh.

EDIT the story after the price correction:

*NOW DEAD * FIXED PRICE * was $767, now $2200

my screen shot hosted by vladgur
a better shot from Jason (good thinkin') also hosted by our buddy vladgur
BTW if the shots look crappy that's just IE 6 trying to be smart, save the image and view it with a normal image viewer it will look fine (or max it out in IE)

The grass is always greener on the other side... This is one sleek LCD.... even girls was drooling over it at my local compusa.... Can this be used on a PC?

i got one, i doubt it will show, but why not try!

wont work on a PC as far as i know

good reason to buy a Mac

(i meant enemy as in another website, but i like your assumption too 🙂 )

Yeah, I ordered one too. Felt like ordering about 10 of them. If this goes through, I'm going to kick myself for not having gotten the others when I thought about it.

People over in the video forum were talking about these a while ago. Supposedly you *can* use them with a PC, but you need some sort of converter box. I have no idea about cost or anything, but I'd bet you could do a search on google.

What shipping are you all selecting? I figure Next day might be the best shot.... What do you think?

The device to make it work on a PC is a dviator and cost about $150. The one mentioned above for $18 is for using a regular CRT type of monitor.

Anyone worried about the lack of a specified shipping price? "Call for price" it says. Well, here's your $800 monitor. With $1700 shipping, that will be $2500. Technically they could do that if you didn't call to ask the price, right? Granted, cancelling orders would be much simpler but this is more evil. . . .

If I get this monitor for this price, I'm so buying the dviator!

<< google searched and found this.

For an extra 18 bucks i'd say this lcd isn't a bad deal, as long as the picture is still crisp and clear after the converter.

That adapter is for the Apple Monitor. I think their LCD are different. Just a note, this thing retails for $2500! drool, I'd get a Mac if I get this...

Well lets hope the nextday shipping method will help get these orders out the door before the boss gets in tomorrow. I got 2 of them coming. If I cant get a converter for my PC ill ebay both. If i can then one will be ebayed to pay for both...win win situation, unless they tak on 500 shipping or some crap like that!

see 1st post for a converter, i only found one so far, but i dont think we will have a chance to use it.

simple price error, unless they actually charge my/our card(s) and dont ship, lets have no lawsuit talk.

$400.00!! for the converter. Oh well, once my monitor gets here, I'll let you guys know how well the converter works.

Hmm...wonder why they have it listed 2 times? Oh well. lets chalk this one up to a email saying were sorry, but the order has been cancelled.
