maybe it's all the hormones north americans use in the beef, which are banned in Europe.

Also pollution of potable water, and not just because of chemicals, but also because humans produce hormones and then piss them away.

It's just not a North American thing. Europe is starting to the same obesity issues.

You say something anti-American in almost every one of your posts. Does it make you feel better about your country?

Obesity is not just American problem, but the problem of the whole world. Nor only Americans have the excess weight.

Blaming HFCS, Monsanto, "Processed foods" is stupid.

Monsanto cannot change the laws of physics. Calories in - calories out.

If this is greater the zero you gain weight.

Read up further on processed foods. People aren't getting the right amount of nutrients from them to begin with. The nutrients that are listed aren't absorbed properly or as well because of the way the food is processed so they are over estimated in a sense.

The food is physically built to encourage binge eating and not leave the person feeling full. This allows food intake to increase (and food revenue!$!$!$!) beyond a person's usual capacity.

So what you are left with is a huge amount of excess carbs being consumed, much of it from HFCS, a deficit of many nutrients including fiber, all while leaving a person wanting more food.

Processed foods
HFCS
Lack of exercise

These are 90% of the problem.
If people want to eat shitty too, they should at least exercise. I am somewhere in the middle. I realize that because I do exercise regularly I can eat some "bad" food, but I also try to limit it. Some people eat fast food every day somehow... I don't even get it. No desire to eat poorly constantly.
