So wait, they're showing commercials for credit and what not? What's the problem?

Also, adults watch the programs their children watch, so maybe it's a pitch towards them...?

I would rather my kids asked me to get a low interest loan to pay off my cc debt than bugged me about getting a full set of vintage original transformers toys anyways. Shoot at least this way they might end up thinking about the advantages and disadvantages of various credit lines.
