I've been a Netflix member for almost 5 years now and I honestly can't say the service has gotten any worse during that time. If anything, it's gotten faster and more reliable. Not saying the rest of guys haven't had a bad experience but it's definately not an across the board thing.

It might be partially due to where you live. By your profile I see you're in Texas, which implies a greater delay in sending/receiving movies. I live in the Bay Area, about half an hour from them. Before, if I sent a movie out today, it would get there the next day, and the next movie would be sent out that day. I'd receive that one the next day after mailing, meaning a 2-day turn-around. Now it's 3-6 days each movie. If the others are correct, they're targeting people that have a higher volume of rentals, which I assume would tend to affect local people like me (I return them quickly, also) more than people further from them. However, for all I know they might have distribution centers across the country and perhaps you're close to one too blowing that idea out of the water. Or perhaps you don't have a high volume of rentals because you hold onto them longer so the new policy doesn't affect you? I don't know, just theorizing.
