* CEO-Shawn - Due to an intermitten equipment failure at our new dc (a piece of equipment we have replaced twice so far in 48 hours), I do not feel comfortable posting the QUESTIONNAIRE to users yet. I want to be sure this piece of equipment (A Media Converter - our router & servers are fine & well) is 100% stable before I proceed.

* CEO-Shawn - I do estimate that our questionnaire will be online sometime today (Wednesday) with the ability for users to post information into our database for us to work on.

* CEO-Shawn has been working today with our equipment provider to ensure stability on that converter - so far, since it was replaced Tuesday morning at 2:00am, it has been almost 100% stable except for 10 minutes this afternoon when they powered DOWN our circuit while replacing fiber tips that were deemed questionable.

* CEO-Shawn wants to be able to deliver 100% stable, non-questionable stability and I do not want to move ahead quite yet until we fix this one last piece. I hope you all can understand. I will return sometime during the day tomorrow to update everyone and to be here live when the questionnaire goes online. Thanks for everyone's support.

Hey heat23, is the "MAGNIFICENT" talking about a server or he is building there a Nuclear Reactor that going to run on the ever trusted MS win 3.1 platform ?

Just wondering... 🙂

Hey Shawn, tell us some more stories about servers coming up.

Possible future excuses:

1. Fiber cut
2. Alqaeda Took the Servers
3. Homeland Security needed the servers
4. Your ip addresses were also used at the NSA
5. A wild yak urinated on the router
6. Locusts!!!!

Or perhaps why the mods haven't locked this at 3 posts? 🙂 I mean heck, they didn't let any of the geforce 4 mega long threads about the whole 4000 orders from BB thing go without getting locked 🙂

Cyberwings: a make believe (from root word "cyber") company that supposedly makes you feel high (root word "wings") from donating to the foundation of: "Shawn White's Get Rich Quick Foundation".

🙁

Or in other words...

S C A M. 🙁

And it got into the datacenter by putting its snout, which just happened to match Shawn's handprint, on the biometric hand scanner. 😀

No, the datacenter was using the same facial recognition software that they tried at Boston Logan airport and in Tampa and it thought the yak looked like Shawn.

That's prolly cause one of the mods got in on the deal and wants to get the status🙂

the BB was a a ripoff of BB and yo all know it. This is legitimate since Shawn has swindled so much money(similar to what the BB-geforce people were trying to do to BB)

We've got fiber all over the place (too many connections to count spread out over half a state), I think I've seen maybe 2 fail since I've been here (7+ years). I find it funny how it's always either equipment or thier providers' faults.

OK, even if you believe that his media converter failed, twice in two days, which I personally don't given this man's track record, he then goes on to say that the replacement converter has been running stable for 23 hours. Here is what he posted at 1 am on Wed morning:

"CEO-Shawn has been working today with our equipment provider to ensure stability on that converter - so far, since it was replaced Tuesday morning at 2:00am, it has been almost 100% stable except for 10 minutes this afternoon when they powered DOWN our circuit while replacing fiber tips that were deemed questionable."

OK, the converter has been running "100% stable" for 23 hours but he does not feel "comfortable" with it?

Notice that no mention of this hardware failure was made at all in the IRC channel on Tuesday when the CW staff was questioned about the status of the questionnaire. At that time the CW staff said the delay in posting was due to it's "testing", not hardware issues.

One more thing, Shawn now says the questionnaire will be posted sometime today (Wednesday). My offer for a small wager still stands.

Mr CEO has broke his word (pronounced "lied") so many times repeatedly, that NOTHING this person (I refuse to call him a man) says can be believed. He has proven himself to be untrustworthy beyond a shadow of a doubt. I wish the authorities would get involved, and put this person behind bars.

Didn't notice if it was said or not (kind of hard to at ~1000 posts), are the emails being sent to Cyberwings hos(t)ed sites being archived anywhere?

Nope. Depending on the originator's (the email sender's) SMTP setup, it will retry a few times then give up. It may take 2-5 days for it to give up.

Look toward the end of this thread. Stngygrrl recommends using zoneedit to ensure your emails get forwarded somewhere, and it sounds like a good solution. In the meantime, if you can find another host you can afford, go ahead and do it. IF this soap opera ever gets resolved, then you'll have some free hosted space on CW for NONCRITICAL sites. Or, if you trust the CW gang (no snide comments, please) you could go back to CW when things stabilize. If you go to a place like Dixiesys, with no setup fees and a low monthly charge, you won't be out much cash.

Note: I'm not recommending that anyone return to CW. I gave up on them when my RackShack site went down, and am now a happy Dixiesys customer. I could have/should have given up earlier, but it was actually working great until last Friday. I was 100% up again on DS by Monday, just short of 72 hours downtime, so it wasn't the end of the world to me. I don't think CW is coming back at all, but if they do, I certainly will take advantage of it since they have my $7.80 for two sites.

They're waiting until everything is 100% stable???

This from a company that has been down for weeks....

Unbelievable. (Actually, quite believable). Wolfie, WHERE ARE YOU??????????/
