God I hate Qwest DSL! Well.... its not just there DSL I hate . If you can get speakeasy I would go with them over qwest.

I've had qwest previously and had a few issues but nothing insurmountable. They have a deal goin through the 28th for 1.5mbps down and I think 890kbps up for 44 a month with 1 cent activation. Oh, and no contract!

Beats the hell outta 128 up and massively unstable

I had Qwest DSL for a year, and while it was slow, I didn't have a single outage the entire twelve months. In fact, there were no problems at all.

does qwest offer some of the same offers as SBC, I am on the 608/6000 plan for $44.95 a month.

Uh dude, this is old news, they dropped the speed from 2Mbit/256kbps to 1Mbit/128kbps then bumped it up to 1.5/200k.

Old news, its been like this for over a year.

im with 1.5/256... but SBC hasnt failed me, only 3 d/c's over a two year period, and my comp is on 24/7

sbc is fine for me.

never tried qwest, and dont plan to

i think that sbc deal is still good. you might want to check the sbc forums over at dslreports.com
