Not Hot anymore - HIS Radeon HD 4850 512MB $95 shipped AR @Newegg

Based on Techpowerups review the 4850 seems to edge out the 4770 slightly in most games with a few games at resolutions under 1280x1024 the 4770. I recently bought a 4850 over the 4770. My 2 cents

Well at $75 AR you are not going to get a 4770. 🙂 They run $99 - $129
and are pretty much out of stock everywhere.

nice got mine with msi for $10 more, the prices really coming down on these. maybe if they get it down to 65 I should get another for xfire.

I recently got this -

Visiontek radeon HD 4650 1GB DDR2 Video Card only for: $69.99 - from TigerDirect.com.
(plus s/h)

Any idea which brand is better? this one has a 1GB ddr - works fantastic - so far..😀

the card you purchased is much slower than this card. Performance is never and has never been based on the amount of memory a video card has.

people don't forget the 2.5% cash back!! you can probably sell the game off on ebay to make this card below 70 bucks. great deal this one!!

All HIS graphic cards carry one year warranty. For more warranty information, you can contact your local retailer or regional distributor

wait isn't HIS 2 year warranty? I doubt it's 1 year, that sounds so little. Newegg site says 2 years.

Sure it has, unless you're going to say that, say, a 64M 4850 would be just as good as a 512M one.

I understand what you are trying to say, but you probably mean that, given a certain minimum, performance isn't really based on the amount of memory available.

Wow, hot price. I'm tempted to buy one just to save it for later use, but I'm guessing prices will continue to go down. I paid $130 for mine about 5 months ago.
