<< what if i have a six pack between 2 and 4 in the afternoon, obviously most of you think i shouldnt drive by dinner time even if i dont feel anything, when will you all finally grant me permission to drive again? >>

Nope, at dinner time you should not drive, you should wait until the next day, if you have to drink, don't drive, if you have to drive, don't drink...

I know, i like beer too, and tequila... mmmm, but i will not drive until i am sure that all of the alcohol has left my body + a few hours...

If i know that i have to drive, i do not drink, if you cannot follow that simple rule, you really should not drive at all...

It IS that simple, you are handling a deadly weapon, NEVER EVER drink and drive, if you are not sure that you should drive, then you definently should NOT, and probably not for many hours...

Bah!

You feel bad, you did bad. Good boy.

Don't do it again. Seriously.

I commend you, however, for understanding what you did. Good job.

Yeah Johnlee, i did bad too... i shot your dad, but i feel sorry, so i guess i am a good guy...

And i will not do it again, seriously...

And i realize that what i did was wrong, so i have done a good job...

Just because this drunken driver did not run over my children does not mean that he did a good job and is a good guy...

His guilt is a very small price to pay for being that stupid... And he is still defending himself, telling us how he did not drink "very much"...

What really scares me is that people out there agree with his actions...

Is your middle name "Holier Than Thou"? That was the worst analogy I've ever seen. You must have never been a high school or college student, eh?

In the 12 hours since you posted this, 20 people have died in drunk driving related accidents. All of the drivers who killed people would argue that they thought they were ok to drive. All of the dead men women and children would argue the opposite.

Of course, that was based on statistics. Also according to statistics this was likely not your first (nor last) time driving under the influence.

...and then you post for attention? to see what people would say? what's your major malfunction?

Ok, you know what, posting this was the stupidest thing I've ever done.

PCResources,

You say that if you've had anything to drink, you don't drive until the next day, or you wait till you know the alcohol is out of your system + a few hours.

I say BULLSH!T. I don't believe for a second that?s how you are. Did you ever go on a date and have a few glasses of wine? Did you tell your date you had to stay at the restaurant for a few hours after your meal because you still had a little alcohol in your system.

I bet its happened to almost every single person here.

I had a long conversation with my parents today about what I did, and no longer feel stupid or wrong about what I did last night. I drank maturely and stopped a good while before I left. I had a good time, drank responsibly and got home safely.

<< In the 12 hours since you posted this, 20 people have died in drunk driving related accidents. All of the drivers who killed people would argue that they thought they were ok to drive. >>

And in how many of those cases were the drivers BAC .024? (or lower, I don?t know if working up a sweat while dancing increased the rate my body got rid of the alcohol.)

<< Also according to statistics this was likely not your first (nor last) time driving under the influence. >>

If you read my post, it was the first time its happened.

Only 0.24? I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were slightly above (or equal to) the intoxication level that your government has decided to be illegal since it impares you ability to drive properly. My apologies.

If you read my post, it was the first time its happened.

I read your post, and I said "according to statistics this was likely not your first (nor last) time driving under the influence"

do the math.

What??? What analogy?

You brag about driving under the influence like its cool. I say thats terrible, so I'm "holier than thou"? Yeah, me and the rest of the sensible population. And the law.

I honestly hope you don't hit someone next time - for the sake of any future victims.

I think you were very responsible. 5 drinks in 5 hours and the last one was nearly 2 hours before you drove? Jesus, I'd call that sober.... :)

BAC limit of .02 and they want to change it to .01? Might as well just got back to prohibition...

Cop- "Sir, have you been drinking?"
"Drunk"- "Yes officer, I had 1 drink 2 days ago."
Cop- "Ok. Sorry, but we're going to have to take you in, you still have trace levels of Ethanol in your blood."

Sheesh! :disgust:

Eh, no, i would not have any wine if i knew that i was going to drive later on, to me that is obvious, if i plan to drink, i do not plan to drive, it is called planning ahead, and if you cannot do that, let the girl do it for you, a cab isn't that expensive...

<< What the Fsck is your problem? Are you aware that JL's Dad was Murdered? I hope not as I wouldn't want to believe that you were that big of a piece of sh!t. >>

I did not know that, i regret that statement now... I used the dad/killed statement because my own father was killed in a car accident when hit by a drunken driver...

JL, i really did not know that, if i had known that i would not have posted anything like that, and believe me, i know how it feels to have your father killed by a criminal POS...

So just because i think that drinking and driving isn't a good thing to do, and just because this fellow managed to drive home without any accidents i am "Holier Than Thou"?

Is your middle name "Stupid Drunk Driver"?
