Not getting FULL Speed

Hi, I took a dedicated 8 mbps fiber internet. Its 8 mpbs down and 8 mbps up running via Fiber .
Now when I am downloading stuffs directly using Internet Download Manager , I am getting 1 mBps + which I am allotted . Now when I am downloading torrents, I am getting like 980-995 kBps. Also , when I am downloading from Origin ( Games ) , I am getting 990 kBps - 1mBps .
My question is why I am not getting full download speed on torrents despite using private tracker and a 45 seeds : 3 peers ratio ?
I am getting 1 mBps + when downloading via IDM but getting only like 980-990 kBps in torrents in a good seed peer ratio.

Let me see if I understand, instead of 1000-KB/sec. you get 990KB/sec. and you consider 1% less a problem?

FYI= 8Mb/sec. (b=bit) yields 1MB/sec. (B=Byte)

1MB/sec.=1000KB/sec.

You realize that just because your connection has the capability for a certain speed doesn't mean everywhere can/will provide you content at that speed right?

OP, you do realize, that there is nothing wrong, right?

If your torrents took up completely 100% of your connection, you wouldn't be able to web browse, or post here.

8Mbps -> 1MBps -> 980KBps + overhead -> You are maxing out your connection. Bit-torrent has overhead to deal with including communications with the trackers, seeds and searching for other members.
