Not getting any video!!! Help!

I'm having a problem with a new system I just built. Here are the specs.

Opteron 165
2 gigs crucial ballistix
sapphire crossfire mobo
x1800xl video card

Ok, heres the problem...I turn the computer on everything powers up fine. I was really careful to check my connections and everything....everything seemed ok. I turn on my monitor(I have a dell 2005fpw btw) and the monitor stays in power save mode. I hit the menu button on the monitor and it says to click the mouse or press a button on the keyboard to get out of power save mode. I move the mouse and press a button on the keyboard and nothing happens. I just got the video card today, and I tried both dvi outputs on it...I even tried using a d-sub cable and adapter. Any help will be appreciated.

Try to hold down the Insert key upon boot. In addition, you should hear at least one beep during startup if there were no issues. Try to run the system with the mobo out of the case, ie on a peice of cardboard.

Naruto, drivers wouldn't be the problem if it hasn't tried to boot into the OS yet.

I'm going to try reseating the motherboard and video card....Anyways I have a tech coming to look at it shortly. Hopefully it's something minor. I'll still take suggestions though 🙂
