That's one that I haven't seen on the road and because I am often near Road Atlanta I get to see a fair number of nice cars. The GT though I've only seen at an auto show and I would love to see one on the road.

That's not hard to do.

With a name like "ZeroCool" I wouldn't expect anything less than a loser troll post. Suck it.

That's what ATOT does... gives you shit about every aspect of your life. Looks like it got under your skin too which is exactly what he wanted. Little tip: ignore it next time

Also, he's right.

Yeah I know, everyone on here has brand new BMW's, Porsche's and Audi's.......you win.

It's amazing how fast these forums have went down hill.

They've been going down for a long time.

Recently I have seen a Ferrari 599, Corvette Z06, and a Lamborghini. All three cars were right next to me in stop and go traffic so I got a good chance to look at them.

Sweet!

Saw a new looking silver Aston Martin DB9 in the WalMart parking lot today - next to a 80's VW Passat wagon and the cart return. I was really surprised at how small it was - as narrow as the Passat. Last week saw a Testarossa weaving in and out of traffic.

I just don't understand why people can't just be nice, I wasn't bragging about my car whatsoever.....

We'll probably see peace in the middle-east before Anandtech people be nice to each other.

How close were you to Medina? 😉

Probably 10 minutes....

We were on the back roads going to kirkland from bellevue (east of 405) by the Bellevue Public Golf Course.

I've seen a lot of nice cars in my day, at work, pretty much anything you can imagine, but nothing in the 500k range.....

I bet the guy just loved you riding his ass and could you get closer when he came to the stoplight, you are supposed to give room incase you get rear-ended and do not hit the $500,000 car in front of you.....people like you raise others insurance rates due to your lack of driving basic skills,bravo....

LOL yeah cause it's hard to hit the brake pedal. It's amazing how 50% of people on here (mostly lifers) are just complete losers.

Oh wait, you have 7000+ posts on an internet forum, so you must be smart.

Where I live it does seem to be difficult to hit the brake pedal. I've already paid the price for this and I've nearly been in accidents numerous times because of tailgating. It is a very dangerous practice and makes no sense for someone to do for any reason. Last Thanksgiving I was driving to my Mom's for dinner and let myself get too close to another driver. They went into the left turn lane and *I kid you not* made a right turn. Into my car. Their headlights were level with my head and if it was at higher speeds it would've been nasty.

Thanks to that I have a wrecked driver's door, a dented front fender, a dented rear left-side door, and a damaged paint job which was redone at great personal effort and expense perhaps three months earlier. It sucks. Watch your distance fool.

greater internet fuckwad theory

This pretty much explains it.

Carrera GT is definitely one of my dream cars. There's an exotic car dealership near where I live and they have one parked in the middle...silver color. I saw it today when I was eating lunch across the street. They got a couple of Bentleys, F430s, Lambos and other good stuff in there but I think the CGT takes the cake.

True story, I have a cousin who works at Progressive in the LA area, and one of his coworkers got a claim from Jason Statham who rear ended his Carrera GT into a 4 runner.

He refused to admit fault to it (or his publicist didn't) and wanted only 50% fault of it because he claims the car braked too fast..and the publicist would continue to go DO YOU KNOW WHO HE IS, DO YOU KNOW WHO HE IS?

The whole "they broke too fast" excuse doesn't work. His GT should be able to break MUCH faster than a 4Runner.

He was talking about the sound of the car. In terms of sound, the VR6 in the R32 is amazing and not easy to top unless you're talking about something much more exotic than a $30K VW.

With the proper exhaust tuning...

No, even stock, the R32's exhaust bellows very nicely. Even plain-jane 2.8's sound great stock. And to say "proper tuning" makes it sound like a good sound is tough to achieve, which it's not, just about any exhaust sounds amazing on a VR6. But it's a matter of opinion, of course. 😉

Guy 1: "I saw a really nice Zonda today." (My life is boring)
Guy 2: "I see Zondas all the time. That's all I see at the Walmart in my neighborhood." (I want you to think I'm rich, and too sophisticated to care about the nice car)
Guy 3: "Well yeah, anything is nice compared to your fucking shitbox. You're fucking gay Guy 1. I bet you go to Volkswagen meetings where you all get together and make the VW symbol with your cocks." (I'm a tool)
Guy 1: "Fuck you guys, I hate this place, I'm going to my Volkswagen meet." (We're making the VW symbol today)

What was his publicist suggesting? Does Statham do all that stunt driving or something?

I see. Damn. I see the publicist's point then.

I owned a VR6...there are tons of way to build an exhaust on a VR6 that would sound like crap.
