I once had a job i did 85 hours a week, 40 regular and the rest OT.

We get "straight time" over 40 hours.......

Washington State let the big companies like Boeing and Microsoft bully them into changing the overtime law if you make over $27 an hour.....a company can now decide if they want to pay Time and a half for people making over $27.

It sucks, but I guess you can;t complain when you make over $27 in the first place.

Plus the company I work for, buys us Dinner everynight....so at least I'm eating free....

I think I'm going to start smoking ROCK so I can stay up longer........cause this ISH sucks.......

Wow, $27 an hour is alot of money. Just don't smoke rocks, it doesn't work. Speed would work better (tina, shards, etc.), but it will wreck you physically.

You're lucky to get "straight time". I'm truly salaried. From last Sept. til Feb 05 I was putting 60+/week and got absolutely nothing for the OT. I'm so happy now that I'm back to 40/week.

actually it makes sense for me. I am salaried, but sometimes I am forced to stay until 9pm on weekdays and all day Saturdays because i work at a hospital and they require me to stick around even though nothing is to be done. So i just do nothing while i wait aroud.
