I have over 23gb free on the drive I am downloading the file too and all other drives have more space than the size of the file I'm trying to download (~4gb).

I start the file, and it gets about 3 megs in and says Error: Not enough disk space.

Any ideas?

edit: and i would like to mention that i have downloaded 7gb files with it before and not had a problem.

Try Bitcomet (not a fanboy or anything). I've just had a better experience with Bitcomet than with Azureus.

i think i know why!

each download reserves space for that file, so if you had like 3 files that were 5 gigs each, it would reserve 15gb on your hard drive that you can't use. not sure if there is a setting that disables this or not.

pontifex is right, it reserves the space. however, if your harddrive says 23 gigs free, that's how much is free. It already takes the reserved space into account (with abc, anyway).

you may want to make sure that your trash is empty.
