Not enough server storage space available to process command

When I try to access directories through my LAN many times I get the following irritating message. This is in XP Pro

"Not enough server storage space available to process command"

All drives are enabled for sharing on all machines. Some machines I can access no problem and some I get the above error. I am using file explorer to access remote directories. I put in a gigabit wired network but I can't use it alot of the time because of this problem. I have some machines on Wifi hooked to the same router as well and have the same problems with them. I can see the directories but I can't open them.

I read somewhere that Norton Antivirus can cause this problem.

It shouldnt be, at least not in any current versions. How big are the files your transfering around, or is this simply trying to get directory listings and such?

I don't even get to the point of transferring files. When I attempt to open a directory it gives me the message. Sometimes I can get in but most times not. Sometimes I can access some of my machines and sometimes not.

It is an irritating problem that has bothered me for a while. I expect Norton Antivirus did it but Acronis Trueimage might also be at fault from what I read on the internet.
