Hi,
Just wondering if I could get a hand with something. I've searched these forums using the search tool and couldn't find anything on this...
My buddy has onboard LAN. He just did a complete reformat of XPSP1. He has installed all the drivers off his mb cd, and went to connect to the net but it wouldn't let him.
I had him check his device manager and there is a yellow triangle stating error above the Ethernet hardware. I had him uninstall the Ethernet and reboot so windows could pull the driver off the cd. It does, then says that there is insufficient memory for the card to work and the yellow triangle re-appears. It also tells him he should disable anouther device to free up some memory....
Hes got 2gb of RAM and a newer setup (not sure what the make is). Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
