Just went from a overclocked Asus Geforce 32mb DDR to a Visiontek Geforce 2 GTS and only got a 127 point increase in 3dmark2001.

That shouldnt be right or or is there something I don't know?

yup, that isnt right. make sure you have anti-alaising and vsync turned off.

Geforce DDR and Geforce 2 GTS are surprisingly similar. Especially since you had your Geforce DDR overclocked... The Geforce is memory bandwidth limited. The 120 mhz Processor on the Geforce 1 and the 200 Mhz processor on the Geforce 2 barely change anything. It all has to do with your RAM.

Since the Asus was overclocked, it was able to preform almost as well as your GTS.

Well I was looking for a decent increase in performance. Maybe I will do a little overclocking?
