I disagree. I had it done and so has my son. I was in no way mutilated, and the statistics show there are medical benefits. This is one case where the government needs to stay out of family business.

...and other statistics show that circumcised men obtain more sensory pleasure during sex. The alleged medical benefits are dubious at best. The real issue is one of hatred towards men and about imposing our society's low regard for men's happiness and lives on helpless infants.

Funny but I and the other males in my family quite enjoy ourselves. We've never had any problems. Oh, direct sensory measurements support that too. Now as far as "cheering on" I don't advise others to do it or not. I keep my hands out of your pants.

You have to look at what people who have had circumcision after they have reached adulthood have to say about it. The general consensus is overwhelmingly that sex was better before circumcision.

In other words no harm has proven to come from this and we really don't care what you or others think. Its none of your or SFs business. As "they" say- whatever.
If I stab you and steal your wallet, can I declare it to be a private matter that's none of the city's business? What business does the government have getting involved in matters between us? What if my religion says that it's OK for me to stab you and steal your wallet? What business does the government have telling me how to practice my religion? What if I worship a blood god or some such?

Hmm ...

I wonder if they are going to ban genital piercings as well. :hmm:

Do you have the intellectual capacity needed to recognize the distinction between a 100% voluntary piercing that occurs in adolescence or adulthood and a 100% involuntary mutilation that occurs in infancy?

Yes. I was stabbed and my wallet stolen then I died. I am currently posting from Hell, but the weather isn't really as bad as people say.
