Not a good time to be buying/selling that GF3

The new GF3 Ti-200 basically equals the performance of the current GF3 at a cost of ~$200 (when released.) So why do I still see used GF3's going for $300?

What?! People are selling their GF3s?? But as recent as one month ago weren't these the same guys who were screaming

GF3 owz joo

Oh... something better is out so now the GF3 sucks for some people?

Can someone explain to me how the Geforce 3 Ti200 is (or is going to be) better than the currently Geforce 3? Looking through Anand's recent preview/review of Nvidia's new cards, the Geforce beats the Ti200 in all scores in all benchmarks in all games. So how is it equal the performance?

I think Dunbar meant that the differences were minimal compared to the cost difference. I think I've heard the same argument regarding CPUs.
